Clear aligners are a series of thin, transparent trays, each shaped slightly differently from the last. Worn in sequence, they move your teeth step by step into the planned position.
Because they come out to eat, brush and floss, there are no food restrictions and cleaning is easy. The difference between a good and a mediocre aligner result is almost entirely in the planning, which is why an orthodontist should design the tooth movements.

You receive your trays and switch to each new set as instructed, wearing them about 22 hours a day.

Invisalign or braces: which is better?
Both work very well when planned by an orthodontist. Aligners are discreet and removable but need discipline to wear 20–22 hours a day. Braces are fixed, so they work without you having to remember them, and they are generally more economical. Your orthodontist will tell you honestly which suits your case.
How long does aligner treatment take?
It depends on the complexity. Minor corrections can take a few months; fuller corrections are comparable to braces. You see the planned timeline before starting.
Can I get aligners if I travel or have a busy schedule?
Yes. Aligners need fewer in-clinic adjustments than braces, and our patients have completed treatment through travel, work and even pregnancy.
